Welcome to the Solo2/Autocross Program of the Sacramento Chapter of  Sports Car Club of America

Solo2 (also called Autocross or Slalom) is a contest of driving skill. We run against the clock (i.e. "solo") on short courses that emphasize car handling and agility rather than speed or power. Speeds and hazards to spectators, participants, and property do not exceed those encountered in normal, legal highway driving. Thrills and fun, however, do. Best of all, you can enter in your street car!

Come Autocross with us! Sacramento CUP events are open to all licensed drivers, and we welcome new participants. We have some loaner helmets available and there is a class for everyone. It's easy, safe and fun for the whole family. Experience your car's limits and improve your driving skills in a safe, friendly environment.

Some people know, some don't--Our Board Meetings are open to anyone. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at Bill and Virginia Fleigs House in Fair Oaks. Don't be scared everyone is welcome, you can come and interact with the Board and other Members in a casual setting. Parking is somewhat limited so ride sharing would be appreciated. Let me or another BoardMember know your coming so we can plan Food and Drink accordingly. We discuss what's on the Agenda then we open it up for anything and I mean anything else--bench racing seems to be the topic of choice. Your opinions and comments matter, so feel free to send an email, phone call or show up and we'll discuss the item in question. Please if you have an idea for a site, do alittle leg work and get names and numbers and we'll take it from there, if it works out you get all the credit--if not no harm, no foul. We can't blame anyone for trying.  Hoping to see some of you there.....
